About

Mariano Nicieza is an Executive Producer for William Shatner WAR Chronicles and Stan Lee’s God Woke and a Publisher with credits that include writing, illustration, design, and art direction in: digital and print comic books, graphic novels, magazines, trading-cards, posters, brochures, and dozens of commercial projects for Marvel Entertainment, Disney, Malibu Publishing, Fleer, Paramount, and Panasonic.

At Marvel Entertainment he held positions both as Special Projects Editor and Senior Art Director. His work has been distributed throughout the U.S. and Canada in numerous mass-market promotions that include: Marvel- Real Heroes- Pizza Hut (two million units) and Marvel- X-Men Blockbuster (eight million units).

Mariano has a BA in Art from Rutgers College, Rutgers University, a MA in Illustration from Syracuse University and a MFA in Illustration from Hartford University. He currently resides in New Jersey and is the Co-Owner of LNL Partners, Inc., and President of MN Productions, Inc.

How PHAZER Began

It all started as the theme for a Graduate School Thesis. The assignment was to create a marketable application for a body of art. From these art concepts, a unique creative world was envisioned by writer/artist Mariano Nicieza under the MN Digital Comics imprint. As the project grew in scope other talented artists and writers were brought into the fold to expand the universe and add to the mythos.

The end result is a bold and entertaining mix of art and story set into a modern day backdrop of international political and military intrigue. Four distinct characters with independent storylines merge to create a fantastic tapestry of mind-blowing science-fiction adventure.
